This watercolor painting was painted on 100% cotton, cold-pressed paper with Daniel Smith watercolors. Shells found along the beautiful shoreline of Matagorda Beach are the inspiration for this painting. On vacation there, I enjoy evening beach combing walks with my husband and daughters. I keep a large shell collection in my home and enjoy photographing and sketching them. The darker colored shells are my favorite. I enjoy the contrast created by the darker shells and sun-bleached beauties we have discovered.
