This is the first Tondo in the Koi series. After completing the large 4X6, I was attracted to the distortions that emphasized the ephemeral and changing nature of the scene. This perfect balance of distortion is very difficult to come by, and has so many interesting lines. It is a literal moment in time, lost as soon as it occurs. However, in that instant there is so much beauty and movement to draw you in.
